Heartwarming Homecomings

The absolute most memorable and special aspect of being a military family is experiencing a deployment homecoming.   Nothing melts your heart more than the anticipation in your child's eyes.  Butterflies do not even begin to describe the feeling in your stomach as you are standing there waiting for your loved one to return home.  Nothing can compare to the tight embrace and passionate kiss you've been waiting so many months for.

Let's come together to share these special moments with each other.  Each homecoming is unique and has a special story leading up to it.  I've created Heartwarming Homecomings so that we can share our deployment homecoming experiences, memories and photos with each other.  There are a few ways to participate:

1.  Write a blog post about your homecoming experiences and link it to the Mr. Linky at the bottom of this page and/or in a comment.

2.  Link to blog posts you may have already written about your homecoming experience using Mr. Linky and/or a comment.  (You are welcome to link one blog post for each homecoming.)

3.  "Like" the Heartwarming Homecomings page on Facebook.  There you can share your homecoming photos and stories as well as link to your homecoming blog posts if you'd like.

You can help spread the word by adding the Heartwarming Homecomings link to the end of your post.  You can copy the code below the image and paste it into your HTML.
