Football Mom!

I am officially a Football Mom!  YAY!  E-Ray had his first practice tonight.  He was so excited all day long, he kept asking me if it was time to go to practice.  His team, the Lions, is 5-7 year olds, and even though he just turned 5, he's average size for the team.  In addition to the head coach, there are four assistant coaches.  It's tackle, which makes me a little nervous, but he can't wait to tackle.  He was bummed tonight that he didn't get to tackle at all.  They practice 2 hours a night, 5 days a week until school starts and the first week is all conditioning.  Once school starts they practice 3 times a week, and on Fridays when the local high school has home games, he's going to take the team to the games in their jerseys.  How cute is that?  It's going to be a very busy Fall between him starting Kindergarten and all of these football practices and games.  I am so excited though, and very proud of my little boy!  GO LIONS GO!  :)
