Still Sad

I am still terribly sad over the loss of Quack.  I had a very hard time getting to sleep last night.  Duck showed up in the yard this morning with one of his friends and they just laid down and went to sleep.  I'm glad he is not alone, but having him here, in my yard, is only making me more sad.  I know he is here waiting for Quack to come back and it just breaks my heart into a million pieces.  They arrived in the yard just as E-Ray was getting up this morning, so I was crying as he came down the stairs.  I told him that Quack had died and he took it very well.  I guess he doesn't fully grasp what it means to die, but I'm glad he's not sad.
