It's time for this week's edition of MilSpouse Friday Fill-In. You can link up over at Wife of a Sailor's Blog if you'd like to participate! Or, if you don't blog, go ahead and answer the questions in the comments section.
What characteristic about yourself has either been strengthened or weakened due to your experience as a Military Spouse?
I am definitely more independent and confident in myself than I have ever been. This has a lot to do with taking care of our kids and numerous other aspects of our lives all by myself all the time.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Vacation? What's that? We never go on vacations because if we ever travel it is to visit our families........so, I guess the answer would be Wisconsin and Florida. If given the opportunity to actually go on a vacation, for a family vacation I would choose Orlando and if it were just the Hubs and I, I would really love to go to Hawaii for a couple weeks.
If you could have any fast-food restaurant in the food court on base/post what would you pick?
I don't live near base, so this is pretty irrelevant to me, however, I would LOVE to have a Culver's here in Hampton Roads! I really miss their fried cheese curds!!!
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Jamaica. It was an experience to say the least. *Note: If you ever go to Jamaica, do yourself a favor and stay at an all inclusive resort so you don't ever have to leave it.
If you could have any job in the world regardless of money, degree or experience, which job would you have and why?
I want Pam Oliver's job. She's down on the field interviewing NFL players and coaches before, during and after the game. DREAM JOB!

I went to Jamaica in college with my campus ministries team. We helped with various projects in the non-touristy sections of town. It was definintely eye-opening. We spent one day doing typical touristy things. They were fun, but the haggling to buy everything is a bit overwhelming to me. And I can see how being there for vacation and venturing out of that world would be difficult.
Culver's is awesome! I loved their frozen custard and chili dogs :)
I've never been to a Culver's, but after clicking on that link and looking over their menu, I'm going to add it to my list of places to try!
I have never been to Jamaica but everyone I know who has say the same thing! You must tell the story of what happened in a future blog post...
